Emirates inaugurates Bangkok World Store in style
Store offers premium services, merchandise, and A380 lounge experience
DUBAI: Emirates has officially launched its Emirates World Store in Bangkok, introducing a premium, lounge-style experience that blends travel services, merchandise, and signature in-flight product showcases.
Located at the upscale Gaysorn Centre in the city’s commercial heart, the 254-square-metre store is designed to bring Emirates closer to its customers in Thailand and beyond.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer. He was joined by His Excellency Obaid bin Taresh Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, and Mr Sorawong Thienthong, Thailand’s Minister of Tourism and Sports, alongside senior Emirates executives and invited media guests.
This launch marks Emirates’ second major investment in Thailand this year. Earlier, the airline unveiled a THB 175 million (USD 5 million) expansion of its lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport, making it the largest Emirates lounge outside Dubai.

Designed with an open-plan layout and light interiors inspired by the airline’s onboard aesthetic, the store features interactive digital displays, dedicated service counters, and an immersive Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge installation.

Customers can explore Emirates’ Premium Economy product, set to be deployed on flights EK372/373 between Dubai and Bangkok from July. The store also includes self-service kiosks, a selfie mirror with global backdrops, and personalised assistance from expert consultants for flight bookings and curated travel plans.
The Bangkok store caters to the city’s growing luxury travel demand, offering visitors a tactile preview of Emirates’ in-flight hospitality. With services tailored for both leisure and business travellers, the space aims to redefine the way customers engage with an airline on the ground.

Strategic growth
The store launch aligns with a new strategic partnership between Emirates and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). Under the agreement, both entities will collaborate on marketing initiatives to drive inbound tourism from Emirates’ global network to Thailand.
Bangkok is one of Emirates’ strongest Southeast Asian gateways, and the new concept store signals a deepened commitment to the region.
The Bangkok location is part of a global expansion of the Emirates World Store concept, with similar city stores already operating in Hong Kong, Manila, and Singapore. Emirates plans to invest USD 27 million over the next three years to establish additional stores worldwide, bringing elevated travel retail closer to customers everywhere.
